FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND AUTHORITY OF THE JOURNAL AND MEMBERS OF THE EDITORIAL BOARD
- Functions and duties of the journal: To adhere to the principles and purposes stated in the license;
- Rights and duties of the Editor-in-Chief, Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Secretary, and Editorial Council - Editorial management;
1. Editor-in-Chief:
- To lead and manage the general management of all activities of the newsroom, ensure the implementation of the principles and purposes of the press agency and take responsibility before the law for all activities of the press agency (According to Article 13 of Chapter 4 of the Press Law);
- Decide whether to publish or not publish
- Review the complete article before publishing;
- Sign all kinds of printing, publishing, and advertising contracts; royalties, operating regulations of the Journal;
2. Deputy Editor-in-Chief: Assist Editor-in-Chief in leading and managing the Journal’s activities; participate in the review when there is an invitation letter; perform tasks and sign documents when authorized by Editor-in-Chief.
3. Chairman of the Editorial Council:
- Organizing work related to receiving and submitting articles for reviewers;
- Reviewing articles;
- Orientation for thematic numbers (if any);
4. Editorial Council - Editorial management:
- Guidance responsibilities for scientific journals;
- Proposing changes in the activities of the Journal in order to raise the scientific level and enhance the ability of scientific publication for the Journal;
- Review articles when invited.
5. Editorial Secretary:
Assist the Editorial Council – Editorial management, do secretarial work from the time the author's article is received until the journal is published, specifically:
- Receive and reply to the author's mail; check the content and form of the article; accept or reject the article (specify the reason)
- Send invitations (can be online) to reviewers when proposed by the Chairman of the Editorial Council.
- Design consultancy for the Journal’s page; categorize articles, count the number of pages, read and proofread on the bulletin board, title, sapo, subtitle, infobox, and accompanying references; check out Contracted Cover Advertisement.
- After receiving the journal, check for errors (if any) and report them to the Editor-in-Chief for timely handling.
