I. General introduction:
The Journal of Accounting and Finance Research was established under Decision No. 109/2003/QD-BTC dated 24 July 2003 by the Minister of Finance, and the first issue of the Journal of Finance and Accounting Research was published in August 2003.

Principles and purposes of the Journal
The Journal of Finance and Accounting Research is a scientific journal published by the Academy of Finance. It covers the fields of finance and accounting and has two versions: Journal of Finance and Accounting Research Vietnamese version and English version.
The Vietnamese journal is regularly published 12 times a year and will change to 24 issues per year starting from April 2023. The English journal is published six times a year. Both journals are highly regarded by The State Council for Professors of Vietnam and have a high score (0.75 points).
The journal aims to inform readers about the results of scientific research by the staff, lecturers, and researchers of the Academy of Finance, as well as to provide a forum for the exchange of scientific ideas between researchers inside and outside the Academy in the fields of economics, finance, and accounting.
II. Publishing field
The Journal of Finance and Accounting Research is a specialized scientific journal that publishes valuable research works in the fields of economics, finance, banking, insurance, taxation, treasury, customs, business administration, accounting, auditing, and other related fields that have not been previously published in paper or online publications.
III. Target audience
The journal accepts articles from scientists, managers, lecturers, researchers, and other individuals inside and outside the Academy of Finance.
IV. Publication details
1. The number of issues under license:
(1) From 2003 to 2017: The journal was regularly published 12 times a year;
(2) From 2017 to March 2023: The journal published 14 issues a year, including 12 in Vietnamese and two in English.
(3) From April 2023: The journal will publish 30 issues a year, including 24 in Vietnamese and six in English.
2. Format, framework, and distribution:
The format of the Journal is 20.5 x 22.5 cm, with a total number of pages per publication period under the license of 100 pages (for Vietnamese) and 150 pages (for English), with a circulation of 1,900 copies and printed in Hanoi City.
Deposit and issuance: The journal is deposited at the Ministry of Information and Communications, Authority of Press, National Library of Vietnam, National Agency for Science and Technology Information - the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Library of the Academy of Finance.
The journal is distributed to units under and affiliated with the Ministry of Finance, units of the Academy of Finance, and other business agencies nationwide. The journal is also distributed to several economic universities, economic management research institutes, The State Council for Professors of Vietnam, and management and scientific agencies and individuals in the country who are professionally related and have regular cooperation with the Academy of Finance.
