English Summary:
Plant-based hot meals (PHM) have attracted a large number of young people in Vietnam, especially those from Gen Z. However, no studies have explored the continued intention to adopt plant-based hot meals (IN), which has created a large theoretical gap. Therefore, this study focuses on exploring the motivation and barriers behind IN. The data was collected through a survey with 325 participants. Analysis of the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling indicates that the benefits of PHM and barriers to adopting PHM are important predictors of IN, which are mediated by the global motives. This study has many meaningful contributions to plant-based consumption theory. At the same time, this study provides a foundation for the development of more comprehensive communication and education policies and interventions to promote PHM choice in the community.
