English Summary:
The global economy is developing at a rapid pace, but this progress is accompanied by severe environmental consequences, especially in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic's long-term impact and the economic instability caused by conflicts and political fluctuations. We believe that carbon taxes are a macro factor contributing to changes in the inflation rate. Therefore, this paper aims to analyze the impact of carbon taxes on inflation and their level of influence on the relationship between oil prices and inflation. Our findings show that carbon taxes can alleviate inflationary pressure caused by an increase in oil prices. Our research offers valuable insights for policymakers to adopt a dual approach to protecting the environment while stabilizing inflation.
